Love Badminton Privacy Policy

Original videos selected from Photos or Files are stored in the app’s local directory by default. Project notes, likes, theme, language, guide status, and local analysis results are also stored primarily on your device. Love Badminton does not scan your entire photo library in the background and can access only content you select or authorize through iOS.

(a) Video and analysis data. When you import a video, we read images, audio, duration, resolution, and necessary media metadata. We may generate a prepared upload copy, thumbnails, sampled frames, rally intervals, player boxes, pose keypoints, court positions, shuttle trajectories, shot events, scores, and statistics. A video may include a person’s image, movement, and voice. We do not use this data for facial identity recognition.

(b) Device and operational data. To adapt the service, establish an installation identity, protect security, and diagnose errors, we may process a randomly generated installation identifier, device model, operating system, app version, language, region, network status, IP address, request and job identifiers, and crash or diagnostic logs. Where available, Apple device-integrity signals may be used without giving us access to your Apple ID.

(c) Feedback and support forms. When you submit product feedback, apply for iOS testing, or join the desktop waitlist, we process an optional name, the contact details you provide, an optional topic, and your message. The current forms do not support attachments. We use this information only to review and respond to your submission, manage the related request, protect the forms from abuse, and maintain service records.

(d) Sharing and referrals. When you create a share link or claim a sharing reward, we may record the share-event identifier, channel, region, link parameters, completion state, and reward change to create links, prevent abuse, and issue analysis time. Likes are currently stored only on your device and are not uploaded.

(e) Information not currently requested. The current version does not require an account, access to your address book, or payment details. You may choose your preferred contact method in a support form. If account or payment features are introduced later, we will update this Policy and provide the required notice before collection.

We use information only as necessary to import and prepare video, upload data, run AI inference, generate rallies and highlights, play, export, and share results; store project state and recover failed jobs; adapt to devices and regions; respond to feedback and privacy requests; operate rate limits, security, abuse prevention, diagnostics, and service statistics; and meet legal obligations.

Unless we obtain separate, explicit consent, we do not use uploaded videos to train general-purpose AI models. We do not sell personal information or use it for unrelated targeted advertising.

Photos access is used only to select videos that you choose. You can revoke it in iOS Settings. Sharing is performed through the iOS share sheet and apps you select; those platforms process content you intentionally share under their own privacy policies. Refusing a non-essential permission does not affect features that do not rely on it.

When online AI analysis is used, the app prepares a processing copy locally and uploads it over an encrypted connection to the configured service or object storage. The original remains on your device. Upload copies, analysis results, and job logs are retained only as long as needed to provide the service, recover failures, protect security, and comply with law. After you delete a project or make a valid deletion request, linked data will be deleted or anonymized, although legally required records and restricted backups may remain until their retention cycle ends.

Depending on your region and where the service is deployed, information may be processed in another country or region. When cross-border processing applies, we use notices, contracts, and safeguards required by applicable law.

We do not sell personal information. Service providers for cloud storage, network delivery, CPU/GPU inference, security, and feedback support may process only the information needed to perform the service under our instructions and confidentiality and security obligations.

We do not otherwise transfer or publicly disclose identifiable information unless you give explicit consent, law requires it, an authorized authority makes a lawful request, it is necessary to protect people, property, or system security, or a merger or restructuring occurs and the successor is required to continue following this Policy.

We use measures such as access controls, encryption in transit, short-lived authorization links, credential protection, log redaction, job isolation, and limited retention to reduce data risk. No internet or software system is completely secure. If an incident may affect your rights, we will take remedial, notification, and reporting steps required by law.

You can view and delete local projects, clips, notes, and likes in the app, and manage permissions in iOS Settings. For server-side information, you may use our support form to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, withdrawal of consent, or an explanation. To protect users, we may need to verify the connection between the requester and the relevant installation or job. We generally respond within fifteen business days unless applicable law provides otherwise.

Minors should use Love Badminton under a parent or guardian’s guidance. Before a child under fourteen uses a feature that may upload a video containing people, a guardian should review and accept this Policy. If we learn that children’s personal information was processed without valid guardian consent, we will delete or anonymize it as soon as reasonably possible.

We may update this Policy when features, deployment, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by another reasonable method, and we will not materially reduce your rights without obtaining any consent required by law.

This website records anonymous page views and download-button clicks so we can understand demand and improve the product. We process the page path, selected language, clicked platform, referring host when available, event time, and a random identifier limited to the current browser session.

We do not store your IP address in the analytics table, do not create a persistent cross-session profile, and do not use these events for advertising. Operational rate limiting may temporarily process a protected network identifier to keep the public endpoint secure.
